The poem 'The Road not Taken' by Robert Frost comes to
my mind each time I see a student of a senior secondary class. The poem brings forth
the dilemma of the poet to choose the right path for him that would mould his future.
Similarly, the students too have taken one step in the direction of their future
by choosing their respective streams. Many of them may be still unsure on what they
want to do after their golden days i in school come to an end. But what they should
know is that this is just the beginning of the innumerable of choices, one has to
make in life. This crucial moment would not return and if properly capitalized on
this moment it would prove to be the road that for them 'really made all the difference',
as did for the poet. Sometimes, one right choice provides one the platform for harnessing
one's talent; and if gone the other way round, could lead to hardships to search
for one's identity...
