COMPROMISE MAKES A GOOD UMBRELLA BUT A POOR ROOF

There is no greater indignity nor greater dishonor than to succumb to the helplessness of a situation thinking it to be beyond one’s control. Compromise is another name for defeat or surrender. Compromise is that word which weakens your quest, hunger, or thirst for success or victory. Momentarily it appears to be the best way out or the best you have done, but in your heart you know you have settled for the second best. A lot of people tend to confuse compromise with adaptability. To combat compromise one needs courage. It is only when we drop courage that we choose compromise. Compromise is like a temporary bandage that we deliberately place over our wounds to escape from the pain. It is only with faith and true belief that one can rise above the challenges of life. Faith is what makes you believe you can. Compromise makes a good umbrella but a poor roof.  Better to have passion, and dedication than indifference in your mind and heart. Always remember if you want to reach anywhere in life learn to step out and overcome difficulties than compromise.
