What does it take to be an entrepreneur
I’ve written this poem to hopefully answer
You can be a woman or you could be a man
But you must have an attitude of Yes I Can
Some go all out to get started
Some begin on a basis of time that is parted
You need to have your heart and mind synchronized
To an idea that you must have materialized
When you begin you are out on your own
The seeds of your idea must certainly be sewn
Some entrepreneurs make lots of money
While others have businesses that seem kind of funny
Some may bake cakes
Others may raise snakes
Some have big dreams and reach for the stars
Some like to work on cars
Your idea could be as basic as shoes for your feet
Or perhaps something tasty like a new ice cream treat
Some are indeed inventors
Others are service implementers
Some find their destiny trying to better them self
Some find a way to create lots of wealth
Some go to school to learn how and why
Others are inspired to learn on the fly
There will be those
Who will oppose
Your vision
Tell you you’re on a failing mission
Everyone has nay sayers 
Even the greatest players
This is definitely fact
Walt Disney was called not creative, Marilyn Monroe told that she could not act
You simply must forge ahead
Don’t let them put your dreams to bed
Don’t let them be discouraging
Let this poem be encouraging
Don’t let them frighten you
May this column enlighten you
If we hadn’t the power to create in our mind
Like the animals still would be mankind
One thing in common all entrepreneurs say
What they do doesn’t feel like work, they can’t wait to get started each day
You don’t have to be a genius to succeed
Just simply identify and fill a need
For an entrepreneur one rule rings true
You must do what you love and love what you do
Although money is certainly a big help
It’s more about sharing a piece of yourself
It’s about your true identity
Who you are instinctually
Take a look down deep inside
From yourself you cannot hide
Once you realize what your heart beats for
You can unleash your passion and unlock the door
Why does one fail and another succeed
It’s due to a public that fickle indeed
Though some are barely surviving
For success they will keep striving
While others create enough wealth to purchase sports teams
There touch is golden they can do no wrong it seems
Hire the right people, employ the right team
You’ll need them to help you achieve your dream
It’s not always easy
But the journey is pleasing
If you figure out what many desire
You sales will soar higher and higher
At the end of the day while lying in bed
Thoughts of your business will run through your head
